How to add an HTML verification code in the head tag of an Opencart CMS interface?
Search Google search console or click here to visit it, if you are a new user sign up and you will see this add property page
In URL prefix enter your website URL and click on Continue, you will have a verify ownership pop-up like below
To keep your website SEO optimized click on the HTML tag, it will ask you to copy an HTML script on the head tag of your website
Now, click on copy button here.
Then go to your Opencart CMS website dashboard by searching this URL “https://yourwebsitedomain/admin”.
Log in with your credentials and navigate to the following to reach the header.twig file.
Now in the Header file (i.e., anywhere in between <head> </head>) paste your verify ownership HTML tag that you had copied from the google search console and click on save button.
After saving the changes, on the search console click on verify button.
Now click on Go To Property and it will tell you to wait for a day or 48 hours to fetch the data.
